There is nothing new in this section. Irving had this material at trial, since he gave notice, pre-trial, that he would cross-examine Van Pelt on this topic (Van Pelt page 178). Van Pelt produced a supplemental report, which was put in evidence at the trial and upon which he was cross-examined, at trial (part of that report is summarised at van Pelt pages 182-193).
Rudolf does not deal with the evidence given at trial (see, for example, van Pelt's supplemental report on this, part of which is set out at pages 182-193 of his witness statement): enough Zyklon-B was delivered to Auschwitz both to carry out delousing and to kill people in huge numbers.
